Dra. ALICIA LISCHINSKY
A physician from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), graduated with honors in 1981. She continued her training in psychiatry at the Araoz Alfaro Hospital and as a mental health teacher at the University of Buenos Aires. She worked as a psychiatry specialist at the Day Center for Mental Health and as a teacher at undergraduate and graduate levels. She developed her professional activities at the FLENI Institute, focusing on neuropsychiatry in teaching, care, and research. She created the Adult ADHD Clinic and several interdisciplinary rehabilitation programs for people with cognitive-behavioral disorders. She later continued her work at INECO, establishing diagnostic and interdisciplinary treatment clinics in neuropsychiatry for brain injuries, attention deficit disorder, and intellectual disabilities in adults.
She also participated in clinical and pharmacological research. Concurrently, her teaching activities focused on the INECO Foundation and the Faculty of Medicine at the Favaloro University, where she is currently the director of the Department of Mental Health and Psychiatry and director of the Diploma in Attention Deficit Disorder and Clinical Neuropsychiatry, co-director of the pharmacogenomics course in depression, among other postgraduate activities. Dr. Lischinsky has presented numerous research works at national and international conferences and has given many lectures on topics in her specialty. She is the author of scientific articles and chapters in books on neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, and behavioral neurology.
